Filament Grade TZ535 – Impact-Modified Transparent PETG Resin

TZ535 is an impact‑modified grade based on standard PETG resin.

It delivers improved impact strength for 3D‑printed parts, making it well‑suited for large‑size component applications.

1、 Introduction

TZ535 is an impact‑modified grade based on standard PETG resin.

4、 Drying Process

PETG is highly hygroscopic. Even though its moisture content is low when leaving the factory, it will still reabsorb moisture from the air during storage and handling.

Therefore, it must be dried in advance before extrusion. If the moisture content is too high, it will lead to the formation of bubbles and filament breakage during the extrusion process.

The recommended drying conditions are as follows:

5、Hazards & Handling

Copolyester PETG exhibits few toxicity. Under normal‑use conditions, accidental ingestion or skin/eye contact will not result in adverse health effects.

Nevertheless, caution is advised during the handling, storage, use and disposal of PETG. Good housekeeping and dust control are required for safe product handling.

Wear heat‑resistant protective gloves in case of direct contact with molten resin.

Vapors and dust may be generated while processing and handling PETG and can irritate the eyes and upper respiratory tract. Use a properly‑approved dust‑respirator.

Adequate general ventilation is recommended for the product processing area.

6、Waste Disposal

Do not discharge waste material into sewers or groundwater. For unused, uncontaminated PETG, recycling is the preferred option.

Where recycling is not feasible, send the material to incinerators or other thermal‑treatment facilities.

The same disposal approach applies to used or contaminated PETG, subject to prior risk assessment.

All disposal activities shall comply with applicable local laws and regulations.
